Together with Daniel Schumpert, a friend and artist, we created over 20 images for Popular Science and a few other affiliate magazines like Outdoor Life and Guns & Ammo. Usually we were given about a week and a loose concept and some reference to create the image. Sometimes it was a 2 page spread, or just an inset image. Many times manufacturers would not have final imagery of their products, so I had to model the product from scratch.
